I am trying to: save some custom fields information Link to a page where the issue can be seen: the problem is when editing custom fields on a page. I expected to see: I expect to be able to save the information on the page. Instead, I got: instead, when I click "publish" the content of the custom fields is not saved. The issue is just with only one of the custom group fields, the other custo group fields are working without problems.
There may be a problem with your support forum, I tried multiple times creating this ticket and it always returned a 500 error when including the debug information, that is why I haven't included it. Even in this reply i tried two more times and it again regturned a 500 error.
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
Well - I would like to know here, do you still facing the same issue? If yes: at what time you fact or you can still experience same issue now as well.
If you still experience the issue with forum - I would like to have exact step information to reproduce this issue so I can report to our concern team.
Regarding your issue of field not saved - could you please share problem URL and access details so I can dive in your site and check whats going wrong there.
It looks like a compatibility issue with the number of third-party plugins you are using currently. To ensure that it's a compatibility issue and in order to minimize the cause of the issue:
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins one by one as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?
I have deactivated all plugins but the ones from toolset.
Deactivate the theme is not an option, the field group is shown only for a custom template, which is generated on the theme.
As I mention above, in the same page there are multiple field groups and the issue is only with one of them, and not the others so it's very unlikely that is a theme related issue.
Yes - I see the issue now when you assign a custom PHP template to the page and you set the custom field group to display with such custom template assigned page - the fields does not get saved.
I will report it to the next level for further debugging and will update you here with further updates.
Well - I'm sorry for the inconvenience. As I notified you before, the issue is already reported to our Devs but I do not have any updates yet to share with you.
I will get in touch with you with updates as soon as possible once I see with our internal ticket.
Please kindly be patient and hold on for further updates as its totally depends on our Devs predefined priorities and available resources. I can do nothing here but will add your voice to our internal ticket to get the focus of our Devs.
Well - I do not have any ETA on it but I see this should be fixed with the next Major release of Types version 3.2. This may take minimum 1-2 months from now.
