I had a question about CRED forms. I really like the functionality and I was thinking it would be cool to create a complex contact us style form on the front end.

But CRED seems to be for users to create either a post or user info. Is there some way to use CRED to create a contact form?

The sort of thing i would be looking at would be like

Are you a Teacher > if yes - the response is sent to email address A
Are you a Student > if yes - the response is sent to email address B

I can see how to do this in cred forms, but can i do all this without having to create a post?

Thanks

Hello Stewart,
Thank you for contacting Toolset support. I'll be happy to help you with this.

As you said, it is possible to do it using CRED Forms, but in order to be able to create the form you will need to create a Custom Post Type where you will be saving all the contact forms sent. So necessarily you will have to create a post.

I recommend you to create a Custom Post Type called "Contacts" or similar with the necessary Custom Fields and then create the CRED Form based in this Custom Post Type.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance and I will be happy to help.
Kind regards,
Carlos
