No worries, I do get it, I'm not your only priority, lol.
Okay I get how this works on your side - I get where it is going and how it can be applied.
I really really appreciate your test site, It is great for comparing apple to apples. Here is where I am at.
Okay so I may not have had all the settings correct at that time. HOWEVER, I do now and I still have an issue.
I did screen shots, this time using 1000pixels for the largest setting I hope that helps.
Differences.
1. I do have a child theme loaded. don't know if that is an issue or even why it would be. however, I don't think there is any real need for it so if it's an issue I can let that go.
2. we are good till we get to the first edit screen. Mine doesn't look like yours - it doesn't list the single products or the edit in the upper left corner or the slug - again not sure if that is the issue, or if that is a settings issue.
3. If I click on the fusion builder button I don't get the fusion builder. I can't remember if I did before or not, but it does the exact same thing if I go to the content template through a view.
Something is clearly out of wack. Is there another setting I should look at? I did double check the Avada list and I DO have products checked for the fusion builder so it shouldn't be that.

So I had an interesting one.
I spent it going over my site with a fine tooth comb.
So after I did everything in my previous note I went back to the duplicator plugin to see where I stand.
It still wasn’t good.
SO I started to go through everything it had with a fine tooth comb.
First let me tell you I just moved my site to wpmudev for hosting at the end of March, I might be 3 weeks in. Prior to this move I used wp-optimize a number of times. I will tell you after this weekend I am not impressed with it, I feel it does a poor job.
What I found is 5 zip files:
One was 5 GB another was 2GB, then there was 9mb, 9mb, and 5mb
Okay so in my defense I don’t know how to “deal” with zip files IN the files. Yes I understand we use zips all the time for plugins but I don’t see zip files in with the plugins. I do not know how to zip files that are actually in the site or unzip them in the site. So that means I didn’t put them there.
I completely get how my site got so big when I had a 5GB zip file.
I was having some issues with my ftp so I went to support for my host to resolve it and confirmed with them that removing the zip files were fine. (yes I am ignorant, I just wanted to double check, with my luck i would have broke something)
So now ALL of the zip files are gone. I am down to 1.35GB maybe that is still big but it is a far cry from 9. something. I knew my site couldn’t possibly be that outrageous.
After all that duplicator still didn’t like my site.
It also said I had like 5 mp4’s yes I had 1 but I shouldn’t have any others. Oh of course nothing really gets deleted.
So back to scouring my files and I found all of them and they are gone.
I also removed few huge images I had in there.
So I stand at 1.35 GB
Duplicator says I have a huge number of postmeta, now I did some research and feel that this could really just be deleted and start over.
my research says meta_keys aren’t really being used and 99% of the meta_value is poor and needs to be redone..
this hasn’t been a focus at all up to this point.
I started off removing the empty and bad, then felt it was going to take way too long so I just emptied it. LOL. I broke my site, which my ignorant mind doesn’t understand, but I restored it and now I am back to full postmeta.
I decided I would wait to see what you had to say about this, AND the actual images I should really keep.
like I said before. I try to upload the image in the size I expect to use it in.
90% of the images are business cards. sometimes people have their cards vertical instead of horizontal (which drives me nuts) because of this the esthetics of the site goes out of whack, especially if It is in a slider. They go up down, up down. So all images I put in are formatted first, with borders to make them 500x500 px etc.
Images in my header slider are formatted for it. They have a purpose they have a size.
That doesn’t mean I put the same exact image into my site for the different sizes (thumbnail, 5x5, 3x3 etc) I know those are options for that size once it is put into the site.
So again in general the 3 standard sized plus the original size are all I really feel I need. I don’t understand why there are an entire list of images all of a sudden.
So please advise on the postmeta and the images.

I apologize for having a bit of a meltdown on the last post. This is kinda my baby. I am working hard on this. I do want it to be the best I can be, but it is hard to hear things sometimes when you are in my shoes AND you don’t know what you don’t know. I had NO IDEA there were 2 HUGE zips in my site that didn’t need to be there.
