[Resolved] Conflict with Responsive WordPress Slider – Soliloquy Lite

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The issue here is that the user's toolset forms editor wasn't working because of a conflict with Soliloquy

Solution:

Unfortunately the soliloquy plugin was throwing a js error in the console which caused our Toolset forms editor to be broken. What I recommend is that you contact the soliloquy team in order to get this resolved.

I am trying to: Edit a post form

I have tested and can confirm that the issue lies with a conflict with the Responsive WordPress Slider - Soliloquy Lite.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: admin page

I expected to see: The content editor with code visible

Instead, I got: Content editor, but it is locked/ frozen and no code is visible

Hi Michael,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

For this one I would recommend that you open a ticket with the soliloquy lite team as from what you explained the issue is on their side.

Since this works when you deactivate the plugin.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

Thank you for your help. I am currently talking with their support. I was wondering if you could assist though because both plugins worked fine together until more recent Toolset updates. I thought that maybe you would be able to determine what changes might have made the plugins no longer compatible. Also, I thought you might be able to help me point their support in the right direction as to what to look for. The issue is very specific, their plugin is somehow interacting with the post form editor.

Thanks,
Michael

Hi Michael,

Yes I can have a look as well.

Hi Michael,

So I checked in on the duplicator package to see what exactly was causing the issue.

There is a JS error that is coming from the codemirror.js file in the soliloquy plugin.

I would recommend letting the soliloquy team know about this as it would need to be worked on from their side.

Thanks,
Shane
