This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I am unable to save post relationships. There seems to be a conflict with the Give plugin.

I am trying to: make a relations between two posts

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: Not available

I expected to see: A clickable button to add the relation

Instead, I got: An unclickable button

It seems there is a conflict when the 'Give plugin is acivated. I get the following message in the console:

Uncaught TypeError: s.toLowerCase is not a function
(I searched though the forum for the errormessage and found something about checking an extension. I checked and the php extension mb_string is active)

If i disable the give plugin, the problem disappears. I do need the 'Give' plugin for the website.

How can i solve this problem?

Hi, this issue has been reported and escalated to our compatibility team. It looks like our system and the Give system both load a library called "chosen", which is causing some conflict here. At this time, the only workaround I have available is to temporarily deactivate Give while managing post relationships. I am linking this ticket to the internal ticket so I can update you when I receive more information.

Compatibility issues are a bit different because we often must collaborate with other plugin developers. I was just running some tests and it looks like the Save button is working with Give 2.3.1, despite being a bit misformatted. Perhaps a recent release of the Give plugin included some changes that fixed the problem. Can you check locally to see if this is working for your site now?

Hi Christian,

i have been able to run some tests today with the donation plugin. Everything seems to work properly now. So no more help is needed. Thank you!
