[Resolved] compatibility issues with "The Events Calendar"-plugin

This support ticket is created 3 years, 2 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to:
Use the View-Widget for Elementor with a custom view

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

I expected to see:
The correct rendered view (see the uploaded image)

Instead, I got:
error at the end of the page:
TypeError thrown
call_user_func_array(): Argument #1 ($callback) must be a valid callback, class Tribe__Events__Query does not have a method "pre_get_posts"

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

This looks like due to the method removed by the Events Calendar plugin it self.

Could you please check with them if they have any workaround other than downgrading the plugin version.
