[Resolved] communication error, registration desynched

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user is getting the communications error message on their dashboard even though their site key is correct.

Solution:
Please try to register your site using the tutorial below.
https://toolset.com/faq/how-to-install-and-register-toolset/#automatic-installation-once-you-have-types-plugin-installed

Once you've done this check again to see if the issue still remains.

Should it still remain, go to Dashboard -> Updates and click on the Check Again link and this should resolve the issue.

I'm getting a "Toolset plugin cannot connect to toolset.com" in my WP admin dashboard.

I generated a new key for the https:// version of my website, and registered toolset again with this key, but I keep getting;
"Toolset plugin cannot connect to toolset.com"

I looked at the "communication error details", There I see a "Site key not matching".

How can get this solved?

Hi Yves,

Thank you for getting in touch. How was the site key generated?

Was it done by following the instructions in the link below ?
https://toolset.com/faq/how-to-install-and-register-toolset/#automatic-installation-once-you-have-types-plugin-installed

If not then I would recommend re-generating your site key using the instructions above then check again if the message still remains.

Should it still remain, go to Dashboard -> Updates and click on the Check Again link and this should resolve the issue.

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane
