Hi,

I have four questions regarding this site:

hidden link

1.- The header for the column "Asociación" gets alphabetically ordered when I click on it. But if I click on the header "Idioma" or "País", they do not order in alphabetical order. Why is that? What can I do to change that setting?

2.- On the left-hand side, where the parameters are, I included a Search field "Palabra clave", I want a free search in the post title and in the description custom field. I download and activated the Relevanssi plugin, but the search is not working.

Any tutorial I can look into?

3.- On every custom post (for example: hidden link) I want to create a horizontal search bar with the same options as the vertical search you see in the home page, only horizontally.

The user should be able to make a new search and the results should appear where the content of the custom fields is (I mean the custom fields should disappear and instead a table with the loop results should appear).

Is that possible?

Do you have any documentation, example or video tutorial?

4.- On the home page, before any search is made using the filters on the left-hand side, all of the existing posts appear on the table. Since I intend to create hundreds of entries, I would like to limit the number of entries that appear on the table when the user enters the site.

Could it be possible to insert a custom field for featured posts and then, on the home page, only show those featured posts?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Daniel

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - as per our support policy we entertain only one question per support ticket and that will eventually help other users searching on the forum.

I will take care of your first question here and kindly open a new ticket with your each new question.

1.- The header for the column "Asociación" gets alphabetically ordered when I click on it. But if I click on the header "Idioma" or "País", they do not order in alphabetical order. Why is that? What can I do to change that setting?
==> This is interasting - I see it's not sorting the results in alphabetical order as you told, but I see there is latin character involved in the column "Idioma" or "País".

I need to check your view's query.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Are you working on site as I do not see the view that was available before on this page:
=> hidden link

Could you please send me correct link where I can see your view and check the column sorting issue.

I checked your view and I found the culprit here that taxonomy sort order is not supported.

You can not sort by taxonomy using taxonomy column.
