[Resolved] Clicking On link on Views results in “page not found”

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that when the user tries to visit his pages he getting page not found.

Solution:
This issue seems like an issue with the permalink structure. What i would recommend that you do is to go to your Settings -> Permalink and set the permalinks to the default one.

Then try your news CPT on the frontend again. If this works then go back to the permalink settings and then change this back to postname

Hi There,

I have a custom post type called "News", and I have created a view which lists them.

However when clicked on, all links goes to a page saying "Page Not Found".

I then tried to open it in the backend by going to the record in the custom post type, and opening it up up. but it goes t the same "page not found" message.

I have checked that the post type has a template assigned to it etc etc, and as far as I can see everything is set up as it should, could you look at it and advise what is wrong.
