I have a slider view with pagination dots. When you click on one of the dots, the page jumps to the top. I've tried changing many of the settings and the position and type of the pagination shortcodes, but it's still an issue. I'm seeing this on multiple sites so it seems like it a bug that was recently introduced. Page in question: hidden link

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

That is really strange.

I checked the debug information you shared with me and I found that you are using number of third-party plugins. Just to ensure there is no plugin or theme conflict:

Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as switch to the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?
- Do you see any difference? if no:

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

I checked and tried few caching options and also try to exclude the "new-homes" page from caching but that does not fix the issue.

Can you please check with Siteground Speed Optimizer plugin support and check with them what is the cause and you're welcome to share the fix they share for the benefit of other users.

Hey Minesh, I just disabled the Siteground Optimizer plugin and the issue is still there, strangely. Can you take another look and see if you can tell what is going on?

In order to minimize the cause of the issue and to ensure there is no conflict between the plugins or theme you use:

Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?
- Do you see it working with only Toolset plugins active? if yes:

Then to locate what plugins has conflict you can activate the third-party plugins one by one and check if you able to spot the culprit plugin.

It's the Google Tag Manager script. When I remove that, the slider works as expected. I assume that means there is a specific tag that GTM is loading that is conflicting with the Toolset slider code. Unfortunately I don't have access to this site's GTM account, so I can't troubleshoot it further. I will try to get access to it. I'll reply back if I find out anything.

Minesh,
I have tested the site with a different GTM plugin, and I've also tried disabling all custom JS tags in GTM, but the issue remains. Can you help me figure out what would be causing this? The only GTM tags left are just plain GA4 events. Again, when I remove the GTM script from the site, the slider works as normal.

I'm afraid I do not have any workaround to share but in this case - you will have to get in touch with Google Tag Manager support and check with them for the proper solution.
