Tell us what you are trying to do?

I am trying to make the date on all of our articles (6000+) clickable with the resulting page being a list of articles for that date.
I'm also wanting to have a date picker on that resulting page so people can select a specific date to see articles for that date.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

I have attempted going through some videos on creating custom searches as well as the documentation for date filtering.

One of the things can't quite figure out is that we are using the default wpv-post-date for each article and I could not find that field when creating a calendar date picker.

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

If you want to filter your posts using the default post publish date, there is no frontend filter available to filter the posts based on default post publish date.

you can obviously add the custom date field that holds the value of default publish date field value and then we can add the filter for this custom field as frontend filer and filter the posts using this custom date field but as you already have 6000+ posts this custom field workaround will not be that useful.

Maybe you should try to use the following plugin that adds the date archives.
