church locator - possible?

I am trying to: Build a church locator. I'm comfortable with creating the 'type', but what would be a good strategy for displaying it on a map (with a list beside it) and also be able to search within it.

Is this possible with Toolset?

I'm still a toolset newbie, so I'm not sure where to even begin – suggestions are welcome!

We do have a Google Map AddOn in the Views Plugin.
This is currently undergoing major changes and will be presented as a separate Plugin in future.

To activate it, you can follow this DOC:

This DOC gives also insight how to set things up to display a certain Custom Post Type's entries on the Map.

The workflow presented there, also includes a "list" beneath the Map, with the entries related to your Map.

Thanks! That's exactly what I was hoping to find.

I'm a bit concerned though. Should I proceed with building something on the Google Map AddOn if it's going to be changed soon?
