I know this has been requested at least two times before (https://toolset.com/forums/topic/hierarchical-taxonomies/ and https://toolset.com/forums/topic/show-taxonomy-checkbox-view-filter-in-hierarchical/) but some months passed and I want to know if there are some updates about it.

Just like the questions I linked, I want to know if it is possible to show hierarchical taxonomies in a checkbox filter, without custom code.

See the screenshots. I think that the checkboxes should show up just like the radio buttons, which are fine.

Hi Stefano

We have an internal ticket about this that arose from earlier requests, but work on improving this has not started and is currently not scheduled, so I can't give you any indication as to when it might happen.

What I can do is add your voice to that internal ticket, which I have done, as well as requested that the priority of this be raised, it is really something that we should offer more control over.

There is not really anything else I can do, I'm afraid.

Thank you for adding my voice to the ticket, Nigel.

I image you have a lot of work to do, but I'm pretty sure this "simple" (nothing is simple in this world!) feature would make the filters much more easy to use.

Best regards
