I am trying to: Update a checkboxes field with all options not selected

I expected to see: All checkboxes not selected
Instead, I got: All checkboxes selected
If you deselect all the checkboxes and submit the form all checkboxes are again selected after page refresh. The right values are stored in the database but the cred selects all options anyway.
I included a screenshot showing the field settings for the checkboxes.
