I am trying to: create a form to add custom type posts in front end, and the checkbox custom field does not display as a checkbox but as a rectangular longer box that can not be filled neither checked. the checkbox display well on back end but not in front end

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: ttt custom field as a single checkbox

Instead, I got: a rectangular form

Hi there

Can you first check with your browser tools if the field has been added to the page markup as a checkbox input correctly?

Right-click on the input and choose to inspect it.

You should see an input element for the field, and its type is supposed to be checkbox.

If it *is* added as a checkbox, but doesn't look like a checkbox, then that is probably related to your theme.

Try switching theme to twentyseventeen to double-check.

Let me know what you find.
