Hello,
i have set up a post type named "projects" and now i need to change this to "project" (no S)
When im i toolset change this all posts gets a new slug, and thats correct! And in the database wp_posts i can see that all posts
havwe got the post type "project" so all have been changed.
BUT- when im try to look att all items, they ar not listed.
Even thou that the url in admin says : edit.php?post_type=project , there is no posts.
And in database the posts have the post type "project"
If i then change it back to "porjects" all come back with "edit.php?post_type=projects"

What do i miss ?

Hi Patrik,

Thank you for getting in touch.

That is quite strange, maybe the records in the database itself didn't have the slugs updated.

Can you try changing the slug back to the original slug and re-save and then reset the slug to just "project".

If this still doesn't work please provide me with admin access to the website so that I can check on the issue further for you.

Also if your site has any form of caching you may need to clear your cache as well.

Thanks,
Shane

Hello,
Yes its very strange, i did try this before also.
I did first change the slug in toolset. and looked inside the database, all posta got the new posttype.
And i also did try to rename it to a wrong posttype and then corrected it to the correct posttype, just to try if the saving work. It did.
But still not in Wp-admin.

I do have WPML installed also. can that be an issue ?!
The posttype is also translated (swedish and english)

Hi Patrik,

That is quite odd.

At this point I would disable the WPML plugins and see if that makes a difference after you've changed it. Also there are no caching on your server itself ?

I will enable the private fields for your next response so that I can log in and have a look at the issue first hand.

Thanks,
Shane
