Tell us what you are trying to do?

Change the map appearance in the Form to the "Silver" look for your template

Is there any documentation that you are following?
Did not find one
Is there a similar example that we can see?
hidden link (there is the google standard tile that I want to change)

What is the link to your site?

See above

Hi there

I can confirm that the map style settings (at Toolset > Settings > Maps) only affect the appearance when outputting an address field as a marker on a map in a Content Template or the output of a View. It doesn't affect the appearance of a map when inputting addresses (e.g. when completing the address field in a form).

We don't have a means to readily intervene in the code used to generate the map to modify the options, and after discussing with the developers have raised an internal ticket for this so that we can update our plugins so that the style setting *is* respected in this case.

We should hopefully be able to make such a simple change relatively soon, and I'll update you when I have news of that.

Just to let you know that the issue is fixed in development, and the fix will be included in the upcoming release of Forms. I don't have a specific release date, but it is expected within the next few weeks.
