Can't import settings onto local site

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to:
Import taxonomies from live site to Local (the software, Version 9.2.9+6887, and the sense, it's a local installation) dev site; post types came over as part of the database, but taxonomies did not.

I expected to see:
The upload button and the review and import button active

Instead, I got:
Both buttons are inactive; review and import is still inactive when using the XML paste option.

That is strange.

Can you please confirm that the "simplexml" extension is installed and activated on your local server? if not, please install and activate it and then check.
