Can't grad datepicker selection with jQuery

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Hi,

I'm trying to grab the selected in datepicker date. All the solutions I found in the internet look more or less the same and do not work when I try to implement them. Here is what I'm trying:

	jQuery(document).ready(function(){
	    var $ = jQuery;
	    $('.js-wpt-date').datepicker({
	        onSelect: function (dateText) {
	           	console.log(dateText);
	        }
	    });
	});

Could you please advise?
