[Resolved] Cant get id form WP Bakery Post Grid

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Cant get id form WP Bakery Post Grid

Solution:
Toolset allows you to call Custom Fields by the following criteria listed as given under:
- The current post being displayed either directly or in a View loop
- The parent of the current post (WordPress parent)
- The parent of this post, set by Types (parent/child relationship)
- A specific post ID

With WPbakery page builder when you use the post grid it creates it’s own loop in GRIDs. It’s the result of a 3rd party Query, and that cannot be considered yet in our ShortCodes.

I am trying to: Add custom fields to the WP Bakery Post Grid

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link - (you'll need to look at the text overlaying the images, not very clear as not styled yet)

I expected to see: Activity Stats for each activity.

Instead, I got: Activity stats for the first activity repeated on all grid items.

I recall that this was an issue in the past but wondered if there was a workaround yet?

I look forward to your thoughts.

Kind regards
James

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I see you are using the WP Bakery Page Builder (Modified Version).

We support only the official version of the WP Bakery page builder. However - I would like to know how you setup the things so that its not rendering the correct activity statue.

Can you please share the problem URL and access details.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

I suggest you should try to build such listing using views thats the best option.
