Can't get automatic linebreaks in WYSYWG

This support ticket is created 6 years, 5 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I'm mucking my way through this and so far, so good....except linebreaks in the post content area ARE NOT displaying on the page.

- "Automatic Paragraphs" IS checked

- I tried adding a WYSYWG custom field to see if it was the post content area causing it - same problem.

- I have to go into TEXT mode and add <br /> to get a line break.

- If I hit enter multiple times all it does is add spaces (though the TEXT editor shows lines followed by on the next line)

This should not be difficult!

I don't know what was going on, but I've got it working now. It was when I cut and pasted some text but got rid of the <div> surrounding it. Yet other pages weren't having that problem. Whatever....it seems okay now.
