[Resolved] Can’t disconnect the related post

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

In this users case they were unable to remove a post from a post relationship.

Solution:

I tried to do this to see if it was a replicable issue on a fresh install. Unfortunately I wasn't able to replicate.

This lead me to suspect a possible plugin conflict. After the user disabled all their non-toolset plugins they were able to disconnect the posts in the relationship.

I changed the relation type from one-multiple to multi-multi. The relations seemed ok after the change but now it seems I can't connect new or disconnect old related posts. I don't know if this has something to do with the change or something else. Is there a way how to "clean" the relations or how could I debug this?

Hi Katja,

I tested this and I was still able to disconnect the posts.

Would you mind allowing me to have access to the site so that I can see first hand what is happening here ?

The private fields have been enabled for your next response.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Katja,

Given that there is such a massive amount of posts on the site.

Is there a post that you can link me to where I can test out the disconnect functionality ?

Also if you disabled all the non-toolset plugins and try again does the same issue still occur ?

Please let me know.

Thanks
Shane

Hi Shane,
I de-activated all the plugins (I was investigating another problem) and re-activated them again. This problem disappeared then! So something was just messed up there. Thanks for your help!
