Can't choose the correct 'post source' when using toolset blocks in popup maker?

This support ticket is created 4 years, 3 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi,

I'm trying to make different popups (with popup maker) to show a gallery slider and a map. These popups are triggered by buttons in a content template (which works fine).

But when using 'dynamic source' in popup maker (with Gutenberg), I can't choose my custom post as 'post source'. I can only chose 'current popup' or 'other post' as source.

Is there a way around this?

What are these pop-ups?

If you are being offered pop-ups as a dynamic source, it sounds like they are a custom post type?

Does a pop-up have an address custom field?

If not, where is the address supposed to come from?

The popups are a custom post type.

I need to get info from a custom field under custom-post-type-1 to show at custom-post-type-2. Is that possible?

Hi Maria,

I had a look on your screenshot and based on the context that you're using the map block in everything appears to be correct.

From what I see you're placing the map on the popup maker post and the dynamic source is set to the Current Pop up. What this means is that any address information on the current pop up post will display on the map.

I need to get info from a custom field under custom-post-type-1 to show at custom-post-type-2. Is that possible?

I'm assuming the custom post type 2 is the popup make correct? How is the pop up maker linked to custom post type 1 ?
