We can submit our Puppies on the laptop, but not the ipad. Most of my clients use their ipads to work on their websites, using the toolset plugins I've created for their websites. Also I noticed the calendar doesn't work on the ipads either.
Please help! The site is . hidden link
I've just noticed the battery is flat on my iPad so I'm recharging so that I can test.
Is the issue specific to iPads rather than touch-screens generally? Does the problem happen in Safari on a Mac, too?
How can I test the issue? I need to be submitting a form on some page logged-in as a particular kind of user or with the admin credentials you provided?
Here is the page to submit a new puppy: hidden link
She used her iPad and I have several clients that need this to work properly on iPads. Most use their phones and iPads using toolset, so I need that format in working order.
Please test it out on an iPad. I couldn't get it to SUBMIT either from my iPad, and the calendar doesn't work from the iPad either.
I just tested this on an iPad and was able to submit a new ad.
The credentials you provided to access the backend of the site don't work so I can't go in and verify that the post was created, but the submission process from the front-end appeared normal.
I did see the problem with the date field—nothing happens when you click into the field—but I see the same problem whether I visit the form with an iPad or with a desktop, it doesn't work anywhere.
Again, I can't visit the back end of your site to investigate, but from the front end it appears that you are using the autooptimize plugin to concatenate and minimise JS files. That is known to cause issues with Toolset, and you should edit the plugin settings to specify that it should not modify JS files.
Can you do that and then verify that the date field works correctly?
I updated the autooptimize settings to not optimise JS but all of Toolset's JS scripts are missing from the page, so something else must be interfering in the enqueuing of scripts.
This is a live site—you don't have a staging site with your host?—so I'll need to take a copy to do some testing to see if I can figure out why.
When I have done some testing locally I'll update you again.
As well as the script concatenation done by the auto-optimize plugin which was breaking interactivity on the front-end form I found that your theme also has settings to do the same.
I had to disable the JS concatenation settings in each of them, and it appears to be working correctly now.
