I am trying to create a local intranet website that allows users to submit questions and allows moderator to update multiple questions at once

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: n/a

I expected to see: Each form being submitted individually

Instead, I got: Only first form in the list gets submitted. Hitting submit on the second form DOES NOT submit the form, instead changes its form ID to match that of first form (checked in developer panel). Now if we hit submit again, the first form gets submitted.

I see something similar in errata but it is lying unresolved since 2.2.1 and now CRED is on 2.3.5. This scares me

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - this is a known issue to us. Following is the link for the latest errata URL:
=> https://toolset.com/errata/inconsistent-behavior-when-submitting-an-editing-form-in-a-view-listing-posts/

The fix for this issue is set to publish with Toolset Forms version 2.4.

When will 2.4 be released? I needed to build this for an event this weekend and next. What is the best workaround?

Well - as you can see with the errata link I shared - currently there is no workaround:
=> https://toolset.com/errata/inconsistent-behavior-when-submitting-an-editing-form-in-a-view-listing-posts/

But if you added the edit/add form within your view's loop with ajax submit, please try to use the normal submit (no ajax). I think that should help you for now.

#1235334

I am not using Ajax submit - just the regular submit. I tried to submit all forms at once by following instructions from https://toolset.com/forums/topic/submitting-multiple-cred-forms-inside-a-views-loop-with-a-a-single-button/ and even that results in only the first form being submitted

#1235335

I am sorry, I did have the ajax submit checked on. I am not able to use submit without ajax but I wanted one click submit and the instructions provided here https://toolset.com/forums/topic/submitting-multiple-cred-forms-inside-a-views-loop-with-a-a-single-button/ do not work. They end up taking content from the last form and updating it across the other forms.

well - the ticket link you shared is too old, almost 1.5 years and I do not suggest to try any fancy solution but concrete and proper solution that should work without any issue and don't break your site.

I strongly recommend you to wait for the release of Toolset Forms version 2.4 which should be published in 3-4 weeks from now. Do you agree?

Hello. It has been about 2 months since you responded and Toolset 2.4 is NOT out yet. By when can we expect it to be released? Does 2.3.6 have the fix for this issue? This delay is pretty significant considering the issue was reported a very long time back by other users to your team

Toolset Forms 2.4 version is under QA. We will soon release it in a couple of weeks or maybe next week.

But if you want to try we offer Toolset Forms 2.4-beta version which you can download from your account's page:
=> https://toolset.com/account/downloads/
[Please select "Beta" from "Choose Channel" drop-down]

Please note that we do not recommend to use this on your production site. But at least you have something to test.

I would like to update you that we just publish the Toolset Forms 2.4 and Views 2.8.3 version.

Please update ALL Toolset plugins and try to resolve your issue.
