Hi,

I have a staging site on localhost but I cant register the site like I always used to.
If I enter the url to get the key: I get this message: Please enter a valid site url (including the http:// part).
However I do enter a valid site url: hidden link on localhost.

Any idea what is the problem here?

Thanks for looking into it

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I can see the issue and I'll report it to our concern department.

As a workaround instead of using localhost, you should try to add a site key using IP.

Go here: https://toolset.com/account/sites/
- Click on button "Add new site"
- Register site with IP.

For example: hidden link

I got the additional news that:
- localhost is not valid url and it was intentionally blocked

Now, you will not be able to register site with localhost as we added validations.

You will have to try to create something like hidden link

Hi,

But why this change? As I have quite a lot of sites running as staging sites on localhost. Any idea how to change them to localhost.lov. I use mamp or do I have to switch to another platform?

As shared - we improve the validation.
- localhost is not valid url and it was intentionally blocked

You should try to create a virtual host and try to givev proper domain name. Please check the following link:
