I am trying to: Update my toolset plug ins.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

I expected to see: I will need to set you up a temporary admin account if you require access to the admin panel?

Instead, I got: Automatic updates unavailable message, and 'bad gateway' message if I follow your link to add key to admin panel?

I have just found the revalidate subscription button on the wordpress installer, tried this as there is the message 'Subscription expired. You need to either purchase a new subscription or upgrade if available. '.

I am simply getting an error message when the button is clicked: 'Error processing request (error). Please try again!'

Hi Philip

Your debug info doesn't show Types, do you have it installed?

Could you manually update Types by going to your downloads page, downloading the zipped archive, go to your plugins list and delete Types if it is installed, then manually upload the zip file on the Add new plugins page.

I'll mark your next reply as private now in case that doesn't help and you want to share credentials with me so I can check the back-end myself.

** I have not provided admin details in this reply as I am trying to back up **

I just went into my plugin updates after your response and it offered me automatic updates which it has not done since we renewed Toolset. Was something updated at our Toolset Account?

I have subsequently updated all the plugins successfully, but when updating a 502 Bad Gateway message was displayed. I then refreshed the page and it showed the update was successful??

Thanks

Hi Philip

Our servers can have temporary glitches and interruptions from time to time that affect your site connecting when looking for updates.

If it is a significant outage we tend to gets lots of reports and our systems team look into it and are usually able to identify and fix the issue fairly quickly.

We haven't had other reports I'm aware of now, though, so it seems to have been an isolated problem for you.

Sometimes this can be persistent, because your server has an old cURL library, for example, which can be fixed by updating the server.

In this case it looks to have been a temporary issue that has resolved itself.

If you don't currently still see an issue I think we can close and address it if it arises again.

If you like keep this thread open for a week or so (there should be minor updates of Forms and Views in the next few days) to see whether the problems recur.

(In that case no need to reply now, just let me know if you see more issues.)
