I am trying to: add a link to hidden link in the top navigation, labelled Itinera Talks

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: a href on that link

Instead, I got: no href

I checked by deactivating Toolset and WPML plugin but still there is no change.

It looks like your menu is overridden by Avada, as you can see with each menu option there is a "Avada Menu Option". I suggest checking with Avada support.

It was not an Avada problem, because it was also present with the Twenty Nineteen theme.
It looks like some incompatibility with the SG Optimizer and/or the WPML Media plugin.
