[Resolved] Cannot add items to custom field

This support ticket is created 4 years, 3 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Tell us what you are trying to do?
I am using toolset to set up our content so that customers can search and learn about the experiences we offer but when I go to add a page for a product and hit update, it does not publish or save. I get an error that says: "Updating failed
example: I created an escape room experience called cyberpunk and I was able to save and publish but when I created a new one called Alice it just replaced the one already saved instead of creating a new page for the product  

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

That is really strange and unexpected. Did you created the post type using Types or the post type you are using is belongs to third party plugin?

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

I'm not sure whats going on at your end but I just logged in to admin and try to create a new post and I successfully able to create it.

Can you please try to delete all cache first and then try to create a new post.

I cleared cache and issue still persists. Try to create multiple products to see if it allows you to. It keeps replacing an existing item and not adding a new one. Please see video link... hidden link

I see you are using number of third-party plugins.

In order to minimize the cause of the issue and to rule out any compatibility issue with the third-party plugins or theme:
- Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?

Do you see any difference?
