[Resolved] Cannot add Custom Field Group in Toolset → Custom Fields

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to: I am using Toolset and can access Toolset → Custom Fields, but I am unable to add a new Custom Field Group.
The button is disabled or does nothing when clicked.
Environment:
- Elementor: Active
- Hosting: Nexcess

What I have confirmed:
- I am an Administrator
- Toolset → Custom Fields exists
- Tried hard refresh and cache clear

I expected to see: Ability to create a new Custom Field Group.

Instead, I got: Cannot add a new Custom Field Group.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

That is really strange.

In order to minimize the cause of the issue and to ensure there is no conglict with the theme/plugins you use:

Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?
- Do you see any difference? if no:

When you try to add custom fields do you see any JS errors with your browser's console? if no:

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Thank you for your response.

I’m currently working on the suggested steps to identify the cause of the issue. I’ll test by deactivating third-party plugins and checking for any theme or JavaScript conflicts and will update you with my findings once the checks are completed.
