Tell us what you are trying to do?
I have been asked to build a rental site for a Canoo rental with WordPress, WooCommerce and Toolset.
When people want to rent I need them to make several choises like:
- Startdate for rent
- Rentalperiod - from hours to days
- Number and sizes of Life Jackets
- Where to start from (4 different geographical places)
- Optionals as firewood and fishing licens, campsite rental etc.

There are so many choises to make and every choise means different costs and I don't think it can be placed in a single product or in bundled products.

I remember that when I aquired Toolset I saw an article on Toolset about ordering a bicycle repair with several pages but I can't find it right now. I remember that when the current page where filled out I could go to the next page and fill out the rest - and ending with a payment - or so I remember it.

That's why I thought about building it like a "buy-flow" like when I would buy a Ford-vehicle: hidden link

Do Toolset have any documentation I can use to build a rental-site as described?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards

Kristen

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Here is the Doc that shows how you can use the Toolset forms Commerce plugin to charge payment using a single product or using the custom field that defines the single product price:
=> https://toolset.com/course-lesson/charge-users-for-submitting-content/

There is no such feature offered using which Toolset charge payment on defined different product attributes.

You can also use the WooCommerce subscription plugin as you can see with the following Doc:
=> https://toolset.com/course-lesson/using-the-woocommerce-subscriptions-plugin-with-toolset/

Hi Minesh.

Thank you for your explanation on using WooCommerce Forms for each product. I will try that the next days.

Another thing I was asking for was the "buy-flow" as a kind of "paging". Can I make several form-elements and put them in a pagination - to get all the different product-elements in one flow? I was thinking of somthing like:

1. Choose Date for rent - put in cart and go to next page
2. Choose number of canoes - put in cart - and go to next page
...and so on

Do you have an idea to build this?

Kind regards

Kristen

Multistep forms are not supported at the moment with Toolset but there is workaround for that but its for simple forms not the such forms that is have connection to woocommerce cart.

Once you use the Toolset Forms Commerce and once you submit the button it will take you to the cart and then checkout page that is the normal workflow as you can see with the Docs:
