This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user was no longer able to edit their content template that was built using the WPBakery Page Builder.

Solution:
This was a known issue and has since been resolved in our Latest versions of Views/Blocks plugin.

If you're currently experiencing this issue and not running the latest versions of these plugins then I recommend updating.

Tell us what you are trying to do?
I've set up a content template using WP Bakery composer, but when I return to try to edit the CT, there is no ability to do this, only a link that says "stop using visual composer"

Providing image below to show what I see. It looks like part of the UI is missing.

Is there any documentation that you are following?
No

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?
hidden link

Hi Max,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Are you currently running the latest versions of our Toolset Blocks/Views plugin ? As this was a known issue that was fixed.

If not then I would advise updating to the latest versions of the plugins by downloading them from the link below.

Thanks,
Shane

Thanks Shane,

Right - I remember this issue from the past, so I was surprised to see it again.

I just updated my WP Theme, all of my plugins, and the Toolset Plugins to the most recent versions, and I am still not able to edit the content template.

Can you assist further?

Hi Max,

In this case it should work. Would you mind allowing me to have admin access to the site so that I can have a more detailed look at this for you ?

Also are you able to create a new content template and then use the WPBakery builder for that new template?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Max,

Can you try clearing the cache of your browser or view the page using a different browser. When I visited the page the builder loads fine. See Screenshot.

So I suspect this is due to your browser caching the backend page.

Thanks,
Shane
