The site we're building has a network of sites using Multisite but I want a common search view to show on all the sub-sites in the network that work from a custom post type that will be in the master site of the network.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

You can certainly use Toolset plugins on a Multisite Network. Although Toolset is multisite ready but there's no way you can pull content from another site in the same network. It only offers the feature that it should work within the same site as content is managed per site.

In other words, Custom Post Types, Custom Taxonomies, Views, WordPress Archives, Content Templates and so on, are created for one site in the network is not shared with another site in the network. Similarly, there is no way to create content in the main network site that propagates down to all network sites for sharing.
