Tell us what you are trying to do

We’re building up a business directory.
Each company gets one user account in WP and may create one or more custom posts (company profile) to represent their company.

They can choose between two (wooCommerce?) products:

1: The customer has to pay x€ for one custom post (company profile) for six months
2: The customer has to pay xx€ for one custom post (company profile) for 12 months

The profile subscription should renew after six months or one year.

How can we realize this with toolset and e.g. woo commerce subscriptions?

We want to (automatically)renew their posts instead of their user account!

Is there any documentation that you are following?
There is not just one, we tried almost all of your courses and other support posts.

Hi Kai,

Thank you for getting in touch.

In order to do this you will need to create a subscription product. Unfortunately WooCommerce default doesn't allow for subscription products and will need to be done with one of the 2 plugins below.
YITH WooCommerce Subscription
WooCommerce Subscription

They both allow you to create subscription products.

However I should mention that this was not taken into account when our plugin was integrated with WooCommerce to charge for posts. The only thing that was accounted for was Paid User Subscriptions.

In terms of compatibility and working flawless out of the box I cannot guarantee this , however to create the subscription product one of the above mentioned plugins will be needed.

Thanks,
Shane

Thank you Shane. But this was not the answer I want to hear. So we can´t do what we planned.

Any other idea? Any future plans in toolset?

Hi Kai,

Any other idea? Any future plans in toolset?

Unfortunately no not that i'm aware of, even if it was something on the drawing board for our development team then it won't be something that would be looked at anytime soon.

Given that this is a public forum then I won't be able to make it private.

What I can do is to pass it to my team lead to see if he is able to delete the ticket.

Thanks,
Shane
