I am trying to: find something I build a lawyer directory
Link to a page where the issue can be seen: I deactivated your plugins - the reactivated types and it blew up posts (not Courts)
I expected to see: something better than front page directory design from 2002. Really the last time I could control directory element look and layout. There is NOT 1 single directory website or plugin that exists to create a professionals directory. It's like no one looks at lawyers or accountants or therapists - all these directories look the same. NOT 1 single example exists. I have been looking for 10 years and consider moving my lawyer directory to wordpress one of the single biggest screw ups (f ups) in my life. I completely devalued my business - and was hoping this plugin would work. It took me 5 years of desperate searching to even know you exist. You really could use SEO .. anyway I find It has corruption.
Instead, I got: blew up my posts before I could even build a view - just activated 3 plugins. types, blocks and maps. Its a bug too bad. I can give you access. I reactivated and my site is now broken so let me know cant leave it that way.
Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
From what I could gather so far, the only issue I can see is that posts like the following URL does not display their content on any post page like this hidden link
I would say that it is expected because the content template that is assigned for post(hidden link) is empty and does not include the post body. I added a Single Field block and configured it to display the post body hidden link
Check here hidden link
There are also two content templates, assigned to Pages and Events, that are also empty. I think that they should at least contain one single field to display the post body.
This being said, I invite you check our documentation here https://toolset.com/documentation/
We have multiple demo sites, you can play with them on our online platform platform https://discover-wp.com/
And detailed tutorials about some of these demos here https://toolset.com/course/
I think you have resolved my issue but I am confused about "expected". And I have another question/observation. This only happens when I used the classic editor; when I used site origin blocks (Courts) they were unaffected. Classic editors do not include a 'post body'. Did you add the block to the template? All pages seem to be showing the content. Should I switch to blocks. Site origin and toolset related blocks?
ALSO on the pages I intend on placing shortcodes - the text (headline) is not showing as below: hidden link
And this one is behave different will not show sidebar
hidden link
Thanks for your invitation to check out your documentation at https://toolset.com/documentation/ but I do not see anything about why my existing site pages were overwritten or about 'post body'. I had previously reviewed that documentation (directory sites). I have watched all the videos too. These were existing pages - some 2 years old. Is there a chapter some where I can understand what you are talking about.
I have the same issue (page content not showing) on all 50 lawyer pages. Like I said above:
hidden link
And this one is behave different will not show sidebar
hidden link
OK I was afraid to edit these templates but it worked - I think! Thanks for your help.
My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
