[Resolved] binding template to post type

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The "bind template" function is no longer visible. You need to assign a specific template to all posts in a post type in bulk.

Solution:

- Go to WordPress Dashboard > Toolset > Content Templates.
- Select the desired template to open its edit screen.
- In the right-hand sidebar, locate the USAGE section.
- Use this section to assign the template to the entire post type.

There used to be a function where you could "bind template" to a post type, but i don't see it anymore. I need to change all the posts in one post type to use a specific template - how can I do this in a bulk action?

Hi,

Welcome to Toolset support.

- Go to the WordPress Dashboard > Toolset > Content Templates.
- Click on the template in question to enter the edit screen.
- On the right sidebar you will have a section called USAGE to select the post the template should be used on.
- Please check the screenshot.

Thanks.
