[Resolved] Beta update stuck and site down

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The issue here was that the user was updating their beta plugins but the views update got stuck and crashed his site.

Solution:
Actually you can manually upload the files to your server by downloading them from the link below.
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

So in the event that this happens, manually uploading the plugin should resolve the issue.

I initiated the beta channel from the backend. Types beta downloaded fine but Views beta is stuck updating and the site is down on the frontend and backend with an HTTP ERROR 500 error. I presume the Views update almost immediately screwed the site and so there is no longer any connection with it which is why the update is stuck. What do I do? I already have Views and content templates on the site and dont want to lose them.

Hi David,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Actually you can manually upload the files to your server by downloading them from the link below.
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

This should replace any files that were missing.

Thanks,
Shane

And this wont affect any views, post types, post fields or content templates I have already created?
