I am trying to: Display a layout designed using Beaver Builder V2

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: Layout displaying correctly

Instead, I got: What appears to be missing CSS.

I have applied the fix located here: https://toolset.com/errata/content-templates-built-with-beaver-builder-2-0-are-not-rendered-properly/#comment-329784

It does not work when using a content template in layouts. I have applied the file to all plugins as it said to do on the above link.

Could we maybe have a fix for this please?

Regards,
Alex

Hi Alex

Beaver Builder is only intended to be used with Views Content Templates, not inside Layouts.

Beaver Builder is a page builder, and Layouts is a page builder, and you should use one or the other rather than both, or at least not mix them on the same page.

If you check this page of documentation (https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/benefits-of-templates-for-custom-types-bb/) you will see the following: "Note that you cannot use Beaver Builder and Layouts on the same page."

If you find that you are using BB to design Views Content Templates without Layouts and they are not displaying correctly, please let me know.

Hi Nigel,

Thank you so much for your reply. The problem i now have if not using layouts is i can't use the OceanWP template settings to hide the sidebar etc on the views layout for my single page design Or i am missing something here?

Please advise.

Hi Alex

I don't have a test site with the same setup in front of me, but you should find that if you disable Layouts then you should see the same settings when editing a Views Content Template.

Make sure you scroll down the page, you should see them at the bottom.

Dp you see them?

Hi Nigel,

Thank you, i disabled the layouts plugin and it worked 🙂

Ok but now it seems the OceanWP settings are not being applied.

Here is the link: hidden link

See my attached screenshot, take note to sidebar, title and featured image!

Alex

Nigel,

It seems now it is on the single events, i was editing the loop, OPPS!

Do we have an option for full width from OceanWP theme settings?

You have been great support, thank you.

Hi Alex

I went ahead and set up a test site to confirm that it works as expected on current versions, which it appears to.

On the page you are linking to, what are you expecting to be different?

For example, you have set the theme options to disable the sidebar. I can see a map to the right in what looks like a sidebar, but it is not a sidebar generated by your theme (which has been disabled), it is a faux-sidebar added by Beaver Builder.

From what I can see it looks like content generated by Beaver Builder (or one of its related add-ons) and is not content generated by OceanWP, in which case the theme option settings of your template will have no effect.

Hi Alex

Sorry, I think we cross-posted.

It is not described as full-width, but on my test site choosing the disable sidebar option serves that purpose, or did you mean something else?

It all seems resolved 🙂
