Hi, i am following up on the ticket: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/issues-with-forms-notifications/#post-1866229
currently with Jamal. I'm not too sure how your support system works, but there were a few issues I have got with your forms at the moment across 2 sites. i was informed by Jamal that he would get back to me this morning, but I haven't heard anything back and need to get the issues fixed asap.
What is the link to your site?
iautouk.com
Can you please help, as none of the issues are resolved yet?
Hi Jamal, thanks for replying. Ok i see, ok sure, that's fine we can work on that one ticket but how long do you think it will be before we can get the issues resolved? As I only really have time today to work on this. I will be very busy next week, but need both of these sites functioning asap.
I have analyzed both websites and I suggest that we work on this ticket about the issues on the second website hidden link
I believe that the issue with the admin notification is coming from a configuration error, and I think that it is fixed now. As you can see in this attached image, the "to: " before the email is missing. It is required because you are using "bcc: " too. And there is an additional dot (.) at the end of the email.
I did not really receive the email. I only tested with the following plugin(Toolset->WP Mail Log). This can be caused by a server configuration. If the hosting provider does not help fix it, I'll suggest using an email provider such as SendGrid or Mailgun.
Regarding the reply-to header, it will need custom code as I will explain in the first ticket.
I'll let you perform a test from your end and let me know what you will get.
Hi Jamal, thanks for that. I can't see any attached image that you're referring to. I'm a bit confused with what you've said above and which sites you're ferring to and what i'm supposed to be doing for each issue. Can you possibly break it down for each issue as to whether they are fixed and if not what I still need to do to fix them.
To confirm, have you fixed the placeholder thing on the iautouk site?
Ok it seems like you have fixed the placeholder thing - but now I can't receive emails on iAutoUK.
Also on the iAutoUK Request a booking form i believe it is bringing across the wrong second category dropdown - because it should be showing things like mot, wheel tracking etc... but instead it's showing all the servicing for each make (see one of the screenshots attached)
Also, when looking in the sent box of our mailbox, it shows all the sent contact forms from the website after a contact form has been filled out - is this normal? (screenshot attached)
The to, from and reply-to still says croydon@iautouk.com instead of the customer's email. (see screenshot)
I have submitted the images here, because I don't know how the main forum works and if other people/members will be able to see confidential information from the screenshot and login information etc.
Please can you just fix the issues for both sites. I don;t understand the links you send and several of them don't have a clear conclusion as to how to fix the issue. And when I have tried to follow them i.e. replacing code I can't find the code anywhere in WP to replace it.
If you need hosting logins or something to do this, I can give you those details. You may need to re-add your Toolset Support Test thing.
Long story short, this has been going on for weeks and is stressing me out. I have purchased Toolset subscription in the hope that you guys could fix these errors, but as pretty as Toolset forms are, just to get them to submit (a basic functionality of a form) I am having to do code etc...? I am this close to just doing away with it all and cancelling my subscription and going with a different form. This is too stressful.
This is why I ask as a last attempt, if you can just go in and fix the issues, it would be much appreciated.
Ok it appears that by switching the SMTP setting from Google >> other smtp (even though the emails are with GSuite) it has fixed it. but i still have the following issues:
Site: iAutoUK
Issue 1: The to, from and reply-to all still say croydon@iautouk.com instead of the customer's email. and thus (see previously sent screenshot). This means when we get an enquiry and click reply it doesn't reply to the customer.
Issue 2: The form called the 'Request a Booking form' on this page: hidden link (after populating from the homepage) now doesn't display the make field - it's just blank.
Issue 3: Despite selecting the 'Request a Booking form' service required options on the homepage - when it comes through to the hidden link page, it doen't show the drop down of services it should, such as mot, wheel alignment etc... instead it shows Car Servicing, then BMW Servicing, Audi Servicing, Skoda Servicing and so .... which is incorrect.
Issue/Request 4: I tried to capitalise on your placeholders entered into the subject field by attempting to add the 'marque' (make of the car selected) and the @service.enquiry - but it didn't come through. Perhaps I did it wrong?
Site: Fogizar
Issue 4: No emails go out to the customer or us (Admins)
Issue 5: The reply-to will probably exist with that site too
Issue 6: The placeholder issue will also probably exist there too
I'm not sure if what I did above is what fixed the email going out issue or the below response I just received now (shown below) from my new hosting provider for iAutoUK. Either way, the hosting provider of Fogizar are not cooperative at all to change any settings like this and claim they have no way of doing so, i still need your help with fixing that site. The priority I would say is iAutoUK though please.
Email to me from my hosting provider for iAutoUK:
Hello Talveer,
As requested, I set the mail exchanger to remote and excluded the domain name from the checker that reverts this settings, so you should not experience similar issues in the future.
Just to reiterate, i've gone and marked down any issues that have been fixed as *** NOW FIXED *** below. please can you let me know about the other issues that aren't fixed yet please. namely the taxonomie form thing on iauto and the reply-to on both sites.

I selected Land Rover and MOT on this one and it's come through as just Land Rover and not anything to do with MOT and it also randomly displays land rover on the right hand side. see attached screenshot
Also not sure if you're working on the issues, but all the pages within the About Us drop down including the Get A Quote page when you click go from the homepage now have a different font from what it should have been. if you check any of the servicing pages, you will see the difference. Please can you ensure this is changed back to be uniform throughout the site.
Also, I am not getting any replies from you. It is incredibly frustrating to know when you will be working on something for my issues and when I will get a reply. I appreciate you have many other issues to resolve, but I can only take responsibility for my issues with my sites. Please can we sort this today.
Hi Jamal, why am I not getting any replies? Ive got several tickets open and they haven't had responses on for over 24 hours (1 around 21 hours). I am not happy with what I am paying for. I have provided everything asked of me and am being very patient but this is taking too long. Please get back to me about the issues asap.
