We have a site with 2 custom post types, Vacancies and Candidates

We have a post form to add candidates to a vacancy, using a parameter url to assign that candidate to the vacancy, like this:

hidden link

We also have a taxonomy which is used on both post types, job type. We're looking to be able to have the job type taxonomy automatically selected when adding a candidate to the parent vacancy, as this is specified on the vacancy. Is this possible to do?

Hi Matt,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Unfortunately this is not something that is possible to do unless you are using custom code to achieve it. Currently you are not able to set taxonomies using URL parameters as only custom fields and the post relationship can be set using the url parameter.

Thanks,
Shane
