Hi,

Even though I gave full access to author role in parent and child of a many2one relationship - in the backend, when trying to add a child it says "you do not have permission for ...." (can't remember the rest) - but won't let add.

Thanks,
Scott.

Hi, can you try these troubleshooting steps first?
- Make sure your Toolset plugins are all up-to-date.
- Temporarily deactivate all other plugins and activate a default theme like Twenty Seventeen
- Go to Toolset > Access Controls > Post Types and make sure the standard WordPress "Post" post type is managed by Access.
- Tell me the status of the parent post you were editing when the error occurred.
- Log in as Author and publish a new Parent Post. Then create a new Child Post from the Child Post menu (not the post relationship panel). Assign the new parent post in the post relationship panel.
- Test the original parent post again, and try the post relationship panel.

Let me know the results of these steps and we can go from there.
