Hi Dung,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

What could be happening here could be caused by a plugin conflict. Could you temporarily disable all the non-toolset plugins and try performing the registration again ?

Thanks,
Shane

I deactivated everything and tried again. It still doesn't work.

Hi Dung,

Would you mind allowing me to have admin access to the site so that I can check on this for you ?

The private fields will be enabled for your next response.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Dung,

The account needs to be an admin account in order for me to gain access to the Toolset sections.

Thanks,
Shane

Sorry about that. Should be all set now.

Hi Dung,

No the account is still not an admin account. See Screenshot.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Dung,

I see there is an error 500 on the AJAX call to when registering the plugin.

It could be your hosting blocking the authentication or maybe some plugin or your theme interfering.

Could you check on the hosts side with their support and if possible would i be able to temporarily disable the plugins and switch the theme ?

If not can I grab a copy of the site using the duplicator plugin ?

Please let me know.
Thanks,
Shane

I’ve temporarily switched themes and deactivated all the plugins.

I'm still not able to register the plugin.

Hi Dung,

Would you mind if I grabbed a copy of your site to test here locally ?

Sure, go ahead.

From my sys-admin:

There seems to be an error in the maker's code. Whenever one tries to activate the license key, it causes a "PHP Fatal error"
(see postscript). Perhaps their coders can make sense of this error.
We are using version 7.2 of PHP.

PHP error returned by license activation:

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 2 passed to OTGS_Installer_Source::__construct() must be an instance of WP_Filesystem_Base, null given, called in /var/www/wordpress/widapl/wp-content/plugins/types/vendor/otgs/installer/includes/class-otgs-installer-source-factory.php on line 10 and defined in /var/www/wordpress/widapl/wp-content/plugins/types/vendor/otgs/installer/includes/class-otgs-installer-source.php:8#012Stack trace:#012#0 /var/www/wordpress/widapl/wp-content/plugins/types/vendor/otgs/installer/includes/class-otgs-installer-source-factory.php(10): OTGS_Installer_Source->__construct(Object(WP_Installer), NULL)#012#1 /var/www/wordpress/widapl/wp-content/plugins/types/vendor/otgs/installer/includes/site-key/class-otgs-installer-fetch-subscription.php(59): OTGS_Installer_Source_Factory->create()#012#2 /var/www/wordpress/widapl/wp-content/plugins/types/vendor/otgs/installer/includes/site-key/class-otgs-installer-site-key-ajax.php(40): OTGS_Installer_Fetch_Subscription->get('toolset', 'tLWzsEUCOJ', 3)#012#3 /var/www/wordpress/w in /var/www/wordpress/widapl/wp-content/plugins/types/vendor/otgs/installer/includes/class-otgs-installer-source.php on line 8

Hi Dung,

It seems i would need some ftp credentials to install the plugin to create the copy. Could you follow the instructions below to provide the copy ?
https://toolset.com/faq/provide-supporters-copy-site/

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Dung,

I have a little bit of bad news, so it seems it is a server issue.

Where in the copy I was able to register the plugins with no issue at all. See Screenshot

Maybe your strict permissions are causing the issue ?

Are you able to update your plugins normally without having to enter your root credentials ?
