[Resolved] Assign Content Template from the Front End

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user wanted to know if it was possible to assign a content template to a post from the frontend.

Solution:

Unfortunately no this is not possible as the assigning of content templates is a backend only feature.

This support ticket is created 6 years, 5 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

If I design a few Content Templates for Posts would it be possible to assign what template is used from the front end using a Cred form.

I want to use different post templates based on the user role of the person submitting the post.

Unfortunately no this one is not possible. The content template assignment is a backend only feature.
