Hi,

There are various posts where users have discussed about issues related to the functionality and styling of CRED forms. This one is from 2013 - https://toolset.com/forums/topic/why-are-cred-forms-so-nasty-to-style/

And in this one (Sept 2014) - https://toolset.com/forums/topic/cred-styling-still-makes-me-cry/ - Adriano mentions "I will be closing this one as the fix will be available in the next release of CRED. Thank you for your understanding."

Question ... what is the best way to find out:

1) the main issues related to CRED
2) which of them have been resolved from recent releases
3) which of them are outstanding and likely to be addressed soon
4) which are unlikely to be solved and hence using Gravity Forms or Formidable Forms Pro may be a better solution

The situation is much better since 1.3. The whole HTML rendering library has been replaced. There is not so much hardcoded markup around the field controls which gives you more flexibility to add your styling. There is a blog post about it here:

https://toolset.com/2014/09/updating-form-styling-cred-1-3/

The result of this is that when you ask us questions about styling we will be able to provide answers better.
