Hi,

I would like to order posts according to custom-field. in product-archive page.
I have set "order-by" " field - post order" .... i've tried "filtering " as a number" as well as " as a string"

I see no difference in order of post on category pages.. Can you help me with this? (see attachments)

Hi Troy,

Thank you for getting in touch.

So you're ordering your archive by this custom field but the order isn't reflected on the frontend.

Would you mind allowing me to have admin access to the website so that I can have a look at this for you ?

The private fields have been enabled for your next response. Also please send me a link to the archive page.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Troy,

Thank you for the credentials.

I see that your toolset plugins are outdated. Can you update them and then try your archive again ?

This might've been an issue that was fixed in an update.

Once you've done this please let me know if the issue still remains.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane.

I have updated the plugins and the issue still remains.

Any ideas?

Hi Troy,

Given that the issue still remains after updating the plugins they we can move to the next debug step.

This will involve disabling all the non-toolset plugins except woocommerce. What is happening is that something is overwriting the custom archive's order query to the database and setting it to sort by the post title.

Once you've done this please let me know if the issue remains.

Thanks,
Shane
