I am trying to: create a archive page for a cpt (not a taxonomy archive) which I can assign as a template to a normal WordPress page (like a archive-{post_type}.php template). So I can create a normal page with text above the posts and a featured image for the page.

I already created a WordPress archive for my CPT in Toolset (hidden link) but now I have added the text above the post loop inside my WordPress archive (see screenshot). So it it not (easy) editable by the enduser (who edits pages but tot stuff inside Toolset). I would like to get it to work like like the standard 'blog' template. Where you can assign the template to a page and the end user can create a page with text, assign the template and the posts are show below the editable text. This would also create the posibility to add a featured image to the archive page.
