Is it possible to include in a Toolset form notification email the ability to approve/publish a post that was submitted with the status of "Pending Review"?

I know about the %%POST_ADMIN_LINK%% , but it would be awesome to have the notification email include the ability to approve a submission right from the email, rather than having the author to log into the backend to approve/publish.

Is this possible?

If not. Is it possible to let an author approve/publish using a Toolset form?

Thanks in advice

Regards
Rune

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

There is no such feature available to approve/publish the posts from the email itself. You are most welcome to add a feature request for that that will allow you to raise your voice in front of our Product Manager:
=> https://toolset.com/home/contact-us/suggest-a-new-feature-for-toolset/

Using Toolset Form - there is no such native feature but you can edit the post using the post edit form where you may need to add a filed that holds the post status with dropdown select and you can allow the authors to select the specific status and submit the form and you can use the Form's hook cred_save_data to update the selected post status. Please check the following related ticket that may help you:
=> https://toolset.com/forums/topic/manage-native-wordpress-post-status-in-cred-form/#post-489972
- Please note that you may need to adjust the code accordingly as per your form ID and field setup.

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!

Sorry, I thought I was done.

I have followed your guidance, and it's now possible for my authors to approve/publish using a Toolset form. However there is a big issue.

I have created a view for authors to use when managing theire posts. The view includes both published posts and posts that are Pending Review. In the wiew output I have included links for edit post and delete post.

For some reasons edit post links do not display for posts in pending review. Delete post links displays fine. Se attached screenshot.

How can I resolve this?

Thanks again for looking into this.

Kind regards
Rune
