Hi,
I've found another issue: In my footer I have 3 widgets, in the first one I've set a WPViews widget. I add it and it works fine, but if I deactivate Avada and reactivate it the widget is gone. Why should I deactivate Avada ? because of another conflict you might remember from my previous ticket: if Avada is active the Toolset Form editor doesn't appear (error "You must select a user role", that IS actually selected) so if I want to work on forms I need to deactivate Avada.
Hope you can fix these.
thanks
Regards
Nicola

Hi Nicola,

Thank you for getting in touch.

I'm not sure if this one is such a major issue because it would be expected if you remove add the widgets and swap the theme, then you will remove the widgets as well from the widget area.

Could you let me know if this only occurs with our Toolset Widgets?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane
I did some more experiments and I think is an Avada Footer widget 1 issue, I will report this to Avada. If I put WPViews in Footer widget 1 after swapping theme it disappears, while if I put the same view in Footer widget 2 it is saved.
What about the Form editor issue ? would you suggest to report it to Avada as well or is it a Toolset issue ? BTW I was thinking it could be a Contact Form 7 plugin conflict, it comes with Avada (I am not using it though).
Thanks
Best Regards,
Nicola

Hi Nicola,

Is there an open ticket for the forms issue ?

If so could you provide me with the link to this ticket so that I can see if the report was made?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,
Avada support replied that it's an Avada issue related in some ways to changing the Avada folder name. I didn't change it, but I am using the Avada Child theme, so that could be the reason. I need to live with this until a fix comes from Fusion.

As far as the form editor is concerned, I clearly remember having mentioned that issue in one of my previous tickets, while I reviewed them all and couldn't find it, weird ....
I mentioned a similar issue here:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/similar-m-to-m-relationships-in-views-behave-differently/

Do you want me to close this one and open a specific ticket for that ? as I working with Avada I might find more conflicts on the way....
thanks
Regards
Nicola

Hi Nicola,

Yes please close this one since the issue is on Avada's side.

For any other conflicts related to toolset you will need to open a specific ticket for it so that it can be investigated individually.

Thanks,
Shane
