[Resolved] an empty space in the alignment

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The user has a grid view that should display 2*3 elements, and it was displaying 3 rows with (3,2,1) columns.

Solution:
The issue was caused by a nested <em> HTML tag in the custom field used inside the loop of the view. That breaks the validity of the whole view and Toolset generated an undesired grid.
Once we removed the child "em" tag, the issue was fixed.

Hello
hidden link
On the home page of the site, there is a hole in the alignment of the thumbnails and until now everything was well aligned and no change has taken place.
Do you know why?
Thanks
guyk

Hello guyk and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

The 6th element in the view(3rd one in the 2nd row) is wrapped in two tags when it should not. Check this screenshot hidden link

I can't tell what is behind this without taking a closer look at how the view is built. If you would like me to give it a try. Your next reply will be private to let you share credentials safely. ** Make a database backup before sharing credentials. **

The credentials did not work for me. Can you double-check from your side and update your last reply with the working credentials. I'll also make your next reply private, in case you want to add them there.

I am really sorry, but I am unable to login with both user "JamTool" and "ToolJam". Maybe there is a geolocation-based restriction.

Please use a private window to test the credentials to make sure they are working for connection. Update your previous replies or your next one.

Thank you! The credentials worked for me.

It turns out that the post (Livre: Une envie de ciel) has an invalid HTML in the custom field "Les actualités" that was causing this issue. There was a nested <em> tag element which is not valid HTML. Check this screenshot hidden link

As soon as I removed the child <em> tag the issue was resolved.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
