I am trying to: Built a content template for object books. It has the featured image and post content in two columns. I was having an issue with the image size being displayed and switched the image to display the media file. When I switched it back to display in lightbox, it now displays the featured image from the last post used when the Content Template was saved in the lightbox rather than the featured image from from teh actual post (that is displaying fine in the post itself).

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

hidden link

I expected to see:

The Image for the Bear Who Loved me in the lightbox

Instead, I got:

Image from a different book

Hi John,

Would you mind letting me see a screenshot of the content template that is responsible for displaying this lightbox?

Thanks,
Shane

here you go

I tried deleting the image block, deleting the whole content template. No joy.

It wasn't doing this till I changed the link setting.

It's a dev site

Hi John,

Thanks i've checked on this for you.

However is it that you still want your images to click and open a lightbox?
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane. The block was displaying the correct image. The bug was in the lightbox. It was not displaying the image for the current post, but the one that was displayed when the template was created.

I want to use the block (not the shortcode) and have the link for the featured image open the same current post mage in the lightbox. I thought it was working like this until I flipped to select the actual image url and then flipped back.

Hi John,

I was able to replicate this on a fresh install and escalated to our 2nd tier team for further debugging.

Currently the workaround is not to have it linked to a lightbox as it seems the dynamic source is not pulling the correct url for the image of the current post.

I will update you with any findings from our 2nd tiers.

Thanks,
Shane
